who spoke about the vow of obedience. Fr. Walker’s presentation focused on how obedience must be lived by the religious in relation to his superior, who manifests God’s will in concrete situations. Fr. Walker also mentioned how living out obedience positively effects the religious’ spiritual and apostolic fruitfulness.

Following Fr. Walker’s presentation, there was an awards ceremony at which the superiors from each of the houses of formation recognized both the academic and virtuous accomplishments of their subjects. Awards were presented for the highest grade point averages in each class, as well as for those who excelled in generosity, work ethic, and apostolic zeal. During the award’s ceremony Fr. Walker also took the opportunity to present each house of formation with a special Papal Blessing.

After the awards ceremony all present attended the Closing Mass presided by Fr. Walker. Finally, the Act came to a close with a dinner reception.
