Corpus Christi
Why is Jesus captive in the Eucharist? <<During his passion he was bound, he lost his liberty: in the Eucharist he binds himself; as though with iron chains, he is made subject by his promises, absolutely and perpetually, and the words of consecration have united him inseparably to the sacred species… Jesus is absolutely and utterly dependent on man… he cannot break his bonds nor abandon his Eucharistic prison. He has made himself our prisoner until the end of time>> What is the main reason he wanted to be captive? The main motive is love: Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end (Jn 13:1).

Ave Verum interpreted by the sisters of the Monastic House of Formation in Tuscania. This musical piece was composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart for the feast of Corpus Christi in the year 1791.
“Hail, True Body born of the Virgin Mary, who truly suffered, sacrificed on the cross for man, from whose pierced side flowed water and blood, be for us a foretaste in the test of death.
O, sweet Jesus, O Merciful Jesus, O Jesus, son of Mary!”

Parish Festival in France
Once again, as we do every year, we organized a festival, gathering all the parishioners and the parents of the children of our school.
In a family environment and one of great joy, we were able to gather funds for the projects of our parish. We give thanks to God for all the blessings received.
May God bless you.
